Beauty & Happiness Comes From Within

0

As we strive to look good on the outside however we are never actually satisfied with how we look are we? We chase our tails to reach some kind of fulfilled happiness with how we appear on the outside. While I do believe that we can do small things on the outside that will give us confidence to tackle the inside, ultimately you have to realise that what is on the outside can not and will not give us long lasting happiness and success.

I have always thrived to have the perfect body, the perfect skin, the perfect hair and the perfect whatever else comes my way. I soon realised it doesn’t make you happy….it makes you feel good and when you feel good you can weather a storm. So it does serve a purpose…it has a place. However beauty and happiness always come from within and you have to work on it. That is when we shine.

Often on the journey of self discovery and personal development we start to peel the onion and unravel the layers on how we have been conditioned growing up, we start to understand why we have certain thought processes and realise that every manner, behaviour and value has a reason for why it’s there however clear or distorted. It’s really easy to stay in this arena for really long time feeling like you must uncover everything before you can move forward. But there comes a time when we must realise that it is a bottomless pit, there is always more. It’s normal to think that we need more time to understand the past to become free of it. That also means that the future will free you of the past so we’re living in the past and in the future not in the present….which is actually where we need to be if we are going to experience any sort of success.

In other words we all have baggage and we all have knowledge and sometimes we need to leave both at the door so we can see and hear exactly what we are suppose too.
